NLP-South Summer BBQ.

On the hottest day this century we gathered for a nice warm BBQ in the garden of Nigel and Jenny’s New Forest home.
It was a good day for sitting very still in the shade, talking and drinking, so that was what we did, plus a bit of eating too!
An NLP gathering would not be the same without some little challenge to state control, so two days before the BBQ I had the drains disconnected, and put in place some camping toilet arrangements.
This wasn’t actually me just being awkward, but one of those fateful timing issues that meant the footings for our extension were dug the week before the BBQ and the drains were in the way. The arrangements were actually very civilised with a porta potti for the ladies and an urinal for the chaps. Full instructions were posted for both toilets to maximise operational cleanliness and calm potentially stressful customers.
They actually stayed in place for a further two weeks due to the vagaries of digging and removal of material, pouring of concrete etc. Happily we are now back on the mains and normal service has been resumed, so its safe to come and visit us now.
Jenny and I really enjoy these BBQ days with the group, and once again we had a super day. Good conversation, some new jokes, some old favourites revisited and time to develop conversation and themes into new areas of awareness and understanding.
Thank you to all who came along and made that hot day a special occaision.
Gavin took some photos!! But I’ve now deleted them!
